# Unremarkable: full text Generated from the site's pages at build time. The name is the only modest thing about us. ## The rule Unremarkable has one rule, and it overrides every other: **it never is.** Every site we make has to impress everyone who meets it, whether they see it, hear it through a screen reader, feel it in braille or send an agent to fetch it for them. A site that dazzles the eye and stumbles in a screen reader isn't impressive. It's half finished. ## How we build - **Built for people who hear the web.** Every site is tested with a screen reader by someone who uses one every day, not run through a checker and declared done. - **Built for the agents people send.** Every page has a Markdown twin, and every site has an llms.txt, so an AI agent sent by a person gets exactly what that person would. - **Built to a standard.** Our sites are built to [Zero Information Casualty v1.7](https://zeroinformationcasualty.org/): nothing published is lost on its way to any reader. - **Built to last.** Static pages, served fast from the edge, readable without a single line of JavaScript. ## The work - [**carrados.com**](https://carrados.com/): The frameworks, the Papers and The Blind AI: writing about AI and blindness that is accountable for its evidence. - [**charli.info**](https://charli.info/): The front door of the CharliVerse, a shared fictional world, and CharliPedia, its memory. - [**blind-ant.com**](https://blind-ant.com/): Charlotte Joanne's making practice: design fiction, stories, games and the working objects behind them. - [**zeroinformationcasualty.org**](https://zeroinformationcasualty.org/): The web standard every one of these sites is built to. - [**charli-jo.com**](https://charli-jo.com/): Accessible service design for people and the agents they send. ## Site by Unremarkable When you find those three words at the foot of a page, the site is ours. Hold it to the rule. --- # Accessibility statement Canonical page: https://unremarkable.me/accessibility/ An accessibility statement is where most sites admit what they couldn't manage. Ours is built to [Zero Information Casualty version 1.7](https://zeroinformationcasualty.org/), so that nobody, whether reading directly, using assistive technology or sending an agent, loses access to anything published here. ## How it is built - Every page is plain, static HTML. No content depends on JavaScript, and the site uses none. - Each page has one main heading, headings in order, landmark regions and a skip link to the main content. - Text sizes are relative, so the site respects your browser's text size and zoom. - All text meets WCAG AAA contrast, at least 7:1, in both the light scheme and the dark scheme, which follows your system setting. If your system asks for more contrast, secondary text and dividing lines change to the full text colour. - Nothing moves, so there is nothing to switch off for reduced motion. ## Standards and testing The site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA as a baseline, alongside Zero Information Casualty v1.7, and is tested with a screen reader as it changes. This is a statement of how the site is built and what it aims for, not a claim of certified conformance. No independent audit has been carried out. This statement was last reviewed on 7 November 2026. ## For agents Agents acting for a person are welcome on every public page. There is a summary for agents at [llms.txt](https://unremarkable.me/llms.txt), the full text of the site in one file at [llms-full.txt](https://unremarkable.me/llms-full.txt), and a Markdown version of every page alongside it. All of them are generated from the pages you are reading when the site is built, not maintained by hand. The site's permissions for search indexing and model training are declared separately in its [robots.txt file](https://unremarkable.me/robots.txt).
